This year’s free, virtual Marin Green Home Tour answers the question, “How are Marin County residents adapting their homes to combat climate change?” It showcases six Marin homes via video, followed by a live Q&A with the homeowners. 

CRBA member (and Events Co-Chair) Kevin Morrison (2021 World) will introduce his home at the showcase event. According to Kevin, “These events often focus on glamorous homes, so it’s important for my modest home to be seen.”

Kevin’s home features heat pump space heating/cooling, an all-electric kitchen featuring an induction cooktop, and gray water management.

Kevin notes that the last piece of the all-electric puzzle for his home will be an heat pump water heater, coordinated by QuitCarbon. “I was inspired by QuitCarbon’s presentation to CRBA just a few months ago,” he says. “Now I’m getting $9,175 worth of goods and services for $475 out-of-pocket.
