ACTIVISM & INFLUENCE: FORMER UNITED STATES VICE PRESIDENT AL GORE DOES IT AGAIN

$72 BILLION DOLLAR BYHALIA PIPELINE CANCELLED

As climate reality leaders and presenters, we are familiar with the slide in the Truth-In-Ten of Bishop William Barber & former United States Vice President Al Gore praying with activist Ms. Ella Rose, after the cancellation of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline from West Virginia, to eastern North Carolina in July 2020.

Well, I am happy to report that our founder's influence against the Byhalia pipeline resulted in another victory for Memphian.  Al Gore rallied with fellow Memphian organized by Memphis Community Against the Pipeline to stop the high-pressure crude oil pipeline proposed by Valero and Plains All American. 

The pipeline would have cut through historic Black neighborhoods in southwest Memphis, communities across the south, and threatened drinking water wells to transport oil to the Gulf Coast.
